Beautiful Zadar

We took a trip to beautiful sunny Zadar to do some training and to celebrate with one of our young singles adults who was turning 20, she is serving a mini mission in Zadar. We took two of the senior single sisters with us, since one of them is going home on Friday we wanted her to see Zadar and the Sea before she left.  The Zadar branch had an activity and celebrated Sister Vicki's birthday.
Here are the senior Sisters we all met up in Zadar for a fun day of sight-seeing and lunch.
One of the couples were just called to be a mission president so they will be going home next week to prepare for their new adventure and service.  We will really miss them!
Beautiful Zadar is on the Adriatic Sea and is a very popular city in the summer.
We went to the old part of the Zadar and just walked around,
This is St. Mary's Church
Donatus Church built in the 9th Century
There are Roman ruins all around this area.
I really love the narrow streets and the cobble stone roads of Europe!
I loved this picture of the beautiful blue sky and sea with the snowy mountains in the background.
This is a very famous spot of Zadar, The Sea Organ. By way of the sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps the waves create a random but very harmonic sounds.  It was built in 2005 by Nikola Basic.
Sun Dial that glows in the evenings, also very beautiful.
