We had the wonderful pleasure of having a Missionary Prep Conference for the youth in our mission. We had five return missionaries from our mission come and speak to them. We had two firesides and some fun activities for them. They were able to go out with our full time missionaries for a few hours too. They spent three nights and three day at the mission home. I was able to prepare the meals for the conference and it was an honor. I love the youth of our mission, each of them are pioneers in their own ways. There are so few members here many of them expressed how lonely they feel living the gospel and how much they enjoy gathering all together to know that they are not alone and others feel like them. It was a very spiritual three days and many hearts were touched and lives were changed. I will always be grateful for this opportunity to have played a small part in such successful activity.
Our first day our AP gave a great presentation to kick things off.
The first day we had Tacos, they turned out great, but not sure everyone liked them.
We went outside for the afternoon, The weather was perfect and so were the speakers.
Lots of role playing and discussions.
RC did a great job training on all that is needed to prepare for a mission.
Playing and relaxing!
Five amazing return missionaries from our mission did a perfect job as presenters to our young people of our mission. The future goals of the mission are to have the young people serve missions and come back and marry in the temple and build up the Church in their countries.
We cooked hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner. RC cooked them all and I am really going to miss this special grandmas and Senior Sister who helps everyone and loves everyone!
We made and enjoyed s'mores after the fireside Saturday night.
This amazing your lady received her mission call to Gilbert Arizona!
