Since the 24th of July is Pioneer Day for all of us from the United States and having grown up celebrating Pioneer Day I decided that the members in Zagreb might enjoy a Pioneer Day party. We had stew, baking powder biscuits, and watermelon for dinner. Then we played the "Stick Pulling" Game and then we taught them the Virginia Reel. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food and the game and the dancing. I hope everyone learned a little more about our Church and the great sacrifices that the early members gave. So many of the members here are modern day pioneers in their countries and in their families. Our Church continues to have a great heritage of valiant Pioneers!
