We had a Branch Party this past Friday at the mission home and the missionaries helped cook the meat, these missionaries in the picture all work here in Zagreb with us.
We have 6 Elders and 6 Senior missionaries and we love all of them. They are our mission family.
Here I am with Sister Ewin and a new member of our Branch and a member's daughter.
Notice the tennis courts in the mission home's back yard, they have a pool too!

This is Elder Massey, he and his companion are helping us get our Visas along with helping us with lots of other stuff, the Elders here know the language and the senior couples don't so we rely on them.
We went down to Zadar for a baptism, Mom is standing to her right. The others are the Sisters who taught her the gospel.
One of the members of the Branch had a little birthday party for her daughter, so we all went over to the party after the baptism. It was very nice to spend time together with the members in Zadar.
We frequent the petrol station quite often with all of our travels. A young man came over to wash our windshield for us, nice! As you can see the gas stations here all have cafes and play areas for the children and lots of chocolate stuff to buy and eat.
The only bad part is gas here is about nine dollars a gallon!
Well, I finally took the leap and got my hair done here yesterday and I am glad to say it turned out very nice and normal. But I paid for it too, it was not cheap, but I found a nice place close to the mission office that has air conditioning and everyone speaks English.
We are planning our first small activity on Thursday after the English classes to introduce everyone to our Center and what we are doing here. We hope they feel the Spirit as they come each week for classes and have a desire to join us here each week for additional activities, such as institute, parties, and service activities. It feels like things for us are starting to come together and we are beginning to feel like we are fitting in here with the people. It takes a while to gain their trust. We really love the people here they are all very humble and appreciate everything we do for them. It is nice to serve when you are appreciated.
We are sorry we are missing Katie's wedding this month, our thoughts are once again with our family. Love you all!
