We drove to Budapest Hungary today with two of our Young Single Adults to bring them to a conference here for young single adults from all over Europe. It was great to have our young people gather with other young people with the same standards and beliefs and challenges. They were so excited to all be here together. And we were so happy to spend time with them today and have the opportunity to come to this beautiful city.
These are the two we drove to Hungary today. Vicki is from Bosnia and was the first member there and the boy is Marko and he is from Croatia. Vicki is so great she is a big help to the mission.
Some of you might recognize this young lady, she was in the Countryside Park Ward in Mesa before she moved to England to study. We were so excited to see her and spend some time with her.
Here are our girls from Serbia. They had a very long train trip to get here.
The international language here is English, so all these young people speak English. While we were at the conference today we heard languages from just about every country in this part of Europe. It was so cool to see them all come together as each country would arrive. It was inspiring!
Everything was so organized. The Missions put on these conferences, so all the Senior couples in Hungary put this all together. It is a real challenge when everyone comes from different countries and travel by bus or train, but it always works out and everyone just loves getting together. The people here always talk about their conferences and Temple trips they have attended and look so forward to them each year. They just love gathering together and they love the temple. Many of their conversions stories are so inspiring I am going to have some of them record them for me so I can share them with you all and you can feel their commitment and love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. They people here really are so kind and so good and they love their missionaries.
