Do bad things come in threes?

 I hope that bad things don't come in threes! 

1.   Last night when we got to the office for Family Night with our branch, Richard checked his emails and had three from Doug and Chelsie, so he knew something was up.  Well, come to find out some special people decided they liked our air conditioners at our Dental Office and stole 3 of the 4, but left the 4th one since they damaged it.  I am so glad we could accommodate their dishonesty, NOT!  So, I went to Family Night and Richard spent a couple of hours talking with Doug and getting everything all figured out.  We are so grateful for Doug and Chelsie for taking care of stuff like this and for Jamie and Tessa for taking care of our house stuff.  We are so blessed to have such great young people in our lives, that love us and support us while we serve here in Europe.
2.  We are having such beautiful weather right now, we decided to get up today and go for a walk in the park.  So, we got up and got ready, now remember our spiral staircase, you know the one that is three stories straight up, that looks like it was handmade.  I step out our door onto the square platform outside our door and then stepped down to the first step.  Richard then came out and was standing on the square platform when all of the sudden we heard this super loud bang/crash.  Of course I thought the whole staircase was falling, but it was only the platform Richard was standing on!  It is made of laminated wood and the wood split apart and the part he was standing on broke, but it didn't completely brake apart so the whole platform didn't fall, but we can't stand on it because it will just continue to brake since there are no support brackets under it.
